You Will Need:
EzGt

Modio (Official Download)
http://www.mediafire.com/?23bh9sv2584mzzz
And of course your Xbox LIVE profile on a USB drive and/or computer via transfer cable. Both methods are very effective, although alternate programs are used for extraction of your profile from either your HDD or USB.

Simply run the .exe setup wizard or the .exe application (depending on which program accommodates your profile transfer) to export your profile to your computer.

How to get your profile on to a USB drive:
- First, ensure that your USB is in FAT32 format.
- Then, insert your USB into your Xbox 360 Drive Port.
- Next, go System Settings > Memory > Hard Drive > Gamer Profiles > "Profile Name" > Move > Memory Unit (MU)
Done.

When exporting your 'Save Path' does not matter. Use desktop for easy access.
There are tutorials all over the web on how to use these applications to extract your profile. I will not be covering those steps as it will be very time consuming, and it is basic common sense once you open the programs and use google for the instructions.
Now that we have access to the necessary programs needed to complete the task, we can begin.
First, open up your profile in EzGt 2.2 by clicking the blue circle tab up at the top which will open a string of options.
Click 'Open', and find your profile & open it in the directory.
Now that you have your profile open you will see the characters of your current gamertag.
Delete these characters so your gamertag text is blank.
Now click Advanced > Hex0d
This should take one character space but leave the text blank. You can identify your character space trough the boxes under the text frame. 20 are blank spaces. Character space and text are two different aspects of your gamertag. The text box displays the text that will show up (not displaying colors & effects obviously, but a general idea of it) and the character boxes show the amount of characters that are left valid.
Valid Characters/Spaces = 20
As you can see, as I click the Hex0d button it adds hex to the characters but not to the text. The text remains blank, even though a character is taken by the hex0d. This will vary with different versions of the program.
Make sure that your cursor is in the text box and hit the space bar to create a space.
Add a color by clicking one of the color boxes up at the top. Or generate your own color code by entering a valid color registry such as ^0(black),^1,^2,^3,^4,^5,^6,^7(white), ^9(rdm). Then add the text of your gamertag after the color code to register the color. Your gamertag won't fit to much over four letters. Keep it short.
In this diagram I label what your EzGt screen should appear to be. Notice the labels and which each character box and text space are. For those of you who are confused since I am naming things differently throughout this write-up, character box, character space, or character 'anything' rather is simply the blue boxes representing characters under the Gamertag text box in EzGt. I just refer to them differently in each paragraph of this tutorial, lol.
Then, add another hex0d by again clicking Advanced > Hex0d. This will add the character in the character spaces.
Next, add a different color code to register another color.
Now, repeat the text that you decided on for your gamertag
And ta-da! Your finished! Now save your profile and run it through Modio if need be. *To be safe rehash & resign all profiles with Modio*
